Happy Halloween!!!!

This was Samuel's first Halloween to actually go trick or treating.  For his first two, we only went to friends houses to show Samuel off and didn't do the whole candy thing.  In fact, last year is one I would like to forget.  :-)

This year, my sweet friend, Vicky invited us to come trick or treat with her family.  They have moved into a new house and have a fun neighborhood for the kids.

It was absolutely perfect. We rode around on golf carts until we found a few houses lit up, we would stop, and let the kids go nuts, load up, and move on!  It was like a scene from ET.  Kids and families were everywhere!

This is Vicky(aka Miss Bicky.)  Everytime we would leave a porch, Samuel would start yelling for Vicky.  He loves her!

The pics got out of order.  This is on our way over.

Enjoying a juice box and pizza before we went Trick or Treating.

Off we go!!  Notice he has boots on.

This was the first house we stopped at.  Samuel just wasn't sure what to do with buckets full of candy!  He was so good to say "Kick or Keat" at every house and say "thank you" when we would leave.  I was so proud of him!

By the time we made it to the 4th house, we had taken the boots off.  They were just a little too big and everytime he stepped up the stairs to the porches, he would lose one.  We put them into the golf cart for the rest of the evening.  He ran around in his sock feet the rest of the night.  It was such a pleasant night and everyone's yards were dry, so he was just fine.

What fun!!

This was exactly what I had hoped and dreamed of for Samuel's first trick or treating experience.  Vicky and her family made it so special for us!
