Playing Outside

I keep thinking it's got to still be winter, since we really didn't have one this year, but it's really Spring now!

Samuel LOVES being outside.

This bubble machine may have been the best purchase we've made in a while.  It is a battery drainer, but the bubbles seem to last forever!

Super Hero!!!

We got home and had a super lazy last few days of Spring Break.

Samuel was a superhero!

Playing in Mommy's Shoes

Casey's least favorite game = one of Samuel's favorites.  :-)

Spring Break in Hope, part 2

It rained the whole first day and most of the 2nd, so Samuel and Chase did some lounging.  I may get our Boppy back out-Samuel used it for a pillow to watch TV a lot.

Samuel loves Baby "Case!"

It finally stopped raining and cooled down, so Samuel and Pop went out to play in all of those glorious Muddy Puddles!

Stylish, isn't he?

He and Pop re-routed a stream back into the pasture. Such engineers

I love my new camera-it caught him mid-air when he was jumping up and down.

This is Lucky, my dad's dog.  He's a great guard dog and we all love him so much.  Just a bonus pic for you.  :-)

Spring Break in Hope, Day 1

We went to Hope for a couple of days during Spring Break.

We got some quality Baby Chase time in while we were there.

Samuel kept him entertained.

Two smiley boys!

Samuel made him giggle a lot.  It was adorable.

The first night, he wanted to sleep on the "big" bed in the room he uses.  I was so nervous, and built a pillow mountain all around it.  He slept sideways all night, so I had nothing to worry about. :-)

A National Boards Free Saturday

Today was the first Saturday in a LONG time that didn't require heavy National Boards thinking.  And I enjoyed every minute.

Samuel and I had some quality pajama time.  He found his stash of books in our emergency room and then somewhere he found an old map.  He went into Dora mode and began reading maps.

"Mommy, let me make a serious face for you."

After naptime, we put on real clothes and went outside to play.  He loves to be outside.

He would throw a basketball at Casey's tennis racket.  When Casey would hit it straight up, he thought that was the best thing EVER.

"No more pictures!!!"

And then he found the eternally muddy spot in the backyard and jumped in muddy puddles.
