I realized that I forgot to post my Easter pictures. I don't want to forget one of the coldest wettest Easters. Ha!
We started celebrating Easter Saturday night when my parents came up to have dinner with us. While they were here, we dyed Easter eggs. I am finally learning to let Samuel do this a bit more independently(okay, I'm not there yet, but I'm closer than last year.)
While supper was cooking, Samuel and Pop did some wrestling. Pop taught him to blow his muscles up so he would be stronger. They were hilarious!
Granny brought Samuel an Easter treat. She found some of our old Easter stuffed animals and cleaned them up and replaced ribbons and everything. Samuel LOVES that bunny.
She put some eggs in the basket and one of them had a $1 bill in it. He opened it and said, "Can you believe it?" So silly.
The next morning, Samuel woke up really (before daylight) early and almost walked right past his Easter basket. He came running into our bedroom and started pulling me out of bed. "Mommy, you won't believe it! Come look!"
"Oh my goodness! The Easter bunny gave me some more money!!!!" Man, we are going to be broke when he realizes that the Easter bunny is only giving him $1. :-)
Apparently, I didn't take a picture of him in his church clothes with my good camera. We had to do a bit of a wardrobe switch when it turned back into winter. He looked too cute in his little long sleeved shirt and khaki shorts. Dapper!
After church, we had a nice McDonalds lunch. Classy, aren't we??
I took a nap, since it felt like Noah might be pulling his ark up to the house soon. When I woke up, it was actually sunny outside. Casey ran outside to hide some eggs while we could. He got a little carried away with the duct tape again this year.
After he found all of those eggs, he insisted Casey hide more, so we hung out under the carport while he hid them.
