Warning! Lots of pictures!
After hanging out in Prescott for PawPaw's birthday, we headed to Hope to spend time for Mother's Day.
Samuel and Pop explored their new storm shelter.
Before bed every night, Casey reads some Dr. Seuss books to Samuel. Pop got the honor that night. But, as you all know, those are hard books to read aloud smoothly. Pop got tongue tied and then made a funny game out of it.
It really tickled Samuel.
Then he made Granny read it to him one more time. She is the queen of calming children for bedtime.
He slept in the queen sized bed again that night. I went in to check on him and he was like this. I rotated him and then scooted him to the middle.
While I was scooting him, I couldn't find his pacifier and I knew if he woke up in the night looking for it, he might freak out or get too close to the edge, so we found one that Granny had and put it in his bed. He woke up the next morning and proclaimed, "Hey! That's not my pacifier! Mine was blue! What's going on around here?" Hearing that through the monitor was a pretty funny way to wake up. :-)
Before church, Samuel and Pop played some bowl drums.
We got mom a Kindle for Mother's day. She loved it!
That morning in church, they did a drawing for some prizes. There were several Kindle's among the prizes. We just knew Mom was going to win one. Dad told mom that we were going to try to subliminally tell her "Don't get the Kindle." Samuel got a kick out of that too. He's been walking around all week with his hand over his mouth saying that same thing in the same tone. So funny!
