I've been avoiding this post because I was afraid I'd jinx it, but we've been pacifier free for 1 month now.
It was one of the hardest parenting thing I've ever done. He was heartbroken, which meant so was I.
I know that with our next kiddo, I won't wait quite so long.

Mine loves that dang thing, too.
I am already dreading the day it is gone, for her and for me.
I tried at 1 year and we did good for a few days and then I decided that she was young and it wasn't worth it to see her upset. We did good getting it to only nap and night time but then when she had her little surgery and was sick a few times she had it some during the day. It took me awhile to get it back to only bedtime. Oh boy, I dread saying gooodbye to it!
