Bell's Palsy

Wednesday, July 24th, I noticed that my eyes were watering like crazy and I had trouble eating my Panera sandwich.  When I woke up Thursday morning(the 25th), I couldn't blink my left eye and that same side of my mouth wasn't working at all.  I was super upset.  I knew what Bell's Palsy was, but was in denial that I had it.  But I did.

I spent a lot of time crying over it.  All while worrying that I was ridiculously vain for crying over it. I spent a LOT of time researching it-more than I ever did for my Master's.  There is no known cause.  There are several theories, but nothing definite. There is also no timeline for healing anywhere. Everything says 3 weeks to a year.  A YEAR!

 I've been taking weekly pictures to keep up with my progress.  I'm almost 6 weeks out and things are definitely better, but I'm still not back to 100%.

Samuel absolutely loves Toy Story.  His favorite character is Buzz Lightyear.  When we ask him what he wants to be when he grows up, he says that he wants to be Buzz.  :-)

I got these wings at Rhea Lana's and he has had so much fun playing with them. When you push a button, the wings raise up and flash. So fun!

I am SO behind!!! Beach Post

We went to the beach the week of the 4th of July.  We had a blast!
