Chase Loves Maddie

Mom and Dad and Chase came up to have dinner with me on my birthday. While we waited for Casey to get home from work, Chase did some experimenting with Maddie.

There are only 3 crazy cats at his house, and he's not allowed anywhere near them-safety for everyone involved.  :-) So when he was allowed to touch Maddie and her touch him back without getting into trouble, he loved it!

Last Day at the Beach

Playing at the beach. He spent most of his time destroying sand castles.  :-)

And to the bitty pool one last time.

Casey wanted to take him to find crabs-not to keep them, just to see. No luck. But Samuel had fun on the beach at nighttime.

He did find some seashell bits that he wanted to keep.

Then off to bed for our last night in the condo.

Just Playing

We ate at the Oyster House one afternoon and Samuel loved all of the ride-on toys they have while you wait.

Shannah's biggest fear is alligators.

Samuel roared when he saw it.

Dolphin Cruise

We tried the Dolphin Cruise again on the 5th

While we waited, Samuel downed an entire liter of water-I just knew he'd need to use the bathroom the second we got out into the bay.

Samuel wanted to take a picture of Daddy. This may be one of the better pictures of Casey ever taken.

Then he took one of Shannah.

He decided to do some dancing to the music they were playing.

Our super cute captain.  I tried to get Samuel to go take a picture with him :-)

He loved being out on the boat.

And then they found the dolphins.  Every time one would jump out of the water, Samuel would clap and clap! It was awesome.

Samuel's 1st Fireworks

Fireworks have always started so late that we never have let him stay up and watch any.  But this year, since we were on vacation, we decided to let him.

He LOVED them. We had them on both sides of our balcony. We were a little nervous about how the noise would affect him, but he didn't mind at all.  He kept running back and forth from one end of the balcony to the other to watch both shows.

Happy 4th of July!!

 Waiting on the Dolphin Cruise!

His face while they were telling us that the storm was too bad and we'd have to come back tomorrow.

After naptime when it got clear again, we headed to the beach.

Samuel decided tearing down sandcastles was WAY more fun.

Shannah loved to play in the waves.

Casey and Samuel got in on the action.

Then they talked me into it.  I'm a big ole chicken when it comes to the ocean, so I made Shannah stay and be the lookout for any wildlife that might want to visit.
